Privacy Policy

Last updated: 6 August 2026

Short version: your data is yours. We only collect what the app needs to work, it is stored encrypted within the EU, we never sell your data, never show ads, and never share anything with third parties for marketing. You can export or delete everything at any time.

Who is the data controller?

Famvy is operated by Åke Kristoffer Nilsson (sole trader, Sweden). Questions about privacy: hello@famvy.se.

What data do we process?

Why do we process this data?

Only to provide the service: storing your data, syncing it across your devices and with the people you've invited to your household, and sending necessary account emails (e.g. password resets). Legal basis: performance of our agreement with you (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).

Where is the data stored?

Encrypted with our hosting provider Supabase, on servers within the EU (Frankfurt, Germany). Your figures also remain locally on your device, and the app works without a connection.

Who can see your data?

You and the people you've invited to your household. No one else. We do not look at your data, never sell it, and never share it with third parties for marketing. Our hosting provider processes data only on our behalf, under a data processing agreement.

How long is data kept?

For as long as you have your account. If you delete your account, the household's data is deleted too (unless other members remain in the household).

Your rights

What the others in your household can see

If you share a household you see the same numbers, and your email addresses are shown to each other in the member list, so you know who is who. Whoever created the household can remove other members; anyone can leave on their own.

Cookies and local storage

Famvy uses only necessary local storage in your browser/app (your login session and your own data). No cookies for marketing or statistics.

Changes

If we update this policy, we'll let you know in the app. Material changes are communicated by email.
